Actor Jon Voight has shared a moment when, at a low point, he heard a clear voice tell him that life is supposed to be difficult. In that moment he understood he was not alone. He describes being filled with new energy and purpose, knowing God was with him through the struggle.
Why it matters: God meets people in their hardest moments, whoever they are, and reminds them they are not alone.
Pinned to Los Angeles, where Jon Voight lives and works.
