Walking in the Light of God’s Son
Loving the Lord #10 – Practicing the Presence of the Lord, Yielding to the Spirit’s Work of Christ-likeness
“. . . without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Consider again, this obstacle for renewal: “We believe that we can do this thing.”
Pause quietly to imagine these words from Jesus. Imagine the Savior speaking directly to you about how you might be a part of the Jesus-Now Awakening. What evidences of self-effort or pride might Jesus see in you? What does He want you to see, hear, or experience instead? Meditate on His words: “Without Me you can do nothing.”
Ask Jesus to change, strengthen, and empower you.
Now celebrate as you hear Jesus whisper these words to your spirit: Remember, “with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Receive the joy of this promise, and let it catalyze your hope for awakening. Wait to sense His presence and power in all of your life.
“And we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness from glory to glory which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
“As the deer pants after the water brooks, so my soul pants after You, O God.” Psalm 42:1
