Some time ago, in the fall of 2016, I had a dream. I usually do not remember dreams, but I did this one.
I was at a football field in a small town. There were absolutely no lights on; there was no moon, no ambient light. I was standing in the stands about halfway up, on the home-team side, looking at a black football field. It was so dark that the grass showed up as black.
Then it was as if I went away and came back. There were about 10 lights spread throughout the entire surface of the football field when I got back – spread over all 100 yards long and 50 yards wide. But these 10 little lights were like the tiny white lights on a Christmas tree. Wherever there was a little light, darkness was dispelled, and I could see a little green illumination – the life of the grass.
I went away and came back again. Standing in the same place again on the home-team side, I could now see about 100 of those little lights. And, of course, everywhere I saw a little light, I saw a little life in the grass, the green.
I went away and came back a third time – instantaneously – it seemed that the movement went from one frame to another. From the stands, I could see that the little lights had increased again. Some of the bulbs had been replaced by much larger bulbs. There were sections of the field beginning to show life with extensive patches of green.
I went away again and came back. The lights were now completely across the field – larger bulbs, smaller bulbs, medium sized bulbs of all types, but concentric circles of light were beginning to overlap.
I went away again and came back a fifth time to the same location. I could see exactly the same view as before, but with one addition. The top of the field was now transparent, and I could see through the life of the grass to the fiber-optic cables below that connected everything from the grassroots up – a tapestry of connections that Someone had put there long before the first light bulb appeared in the grass.
Grassroots revival is what we are seeing in America today – lights springing forth by the millions:
These grassroots lights are the expression of true revival and awakening that are occurring today. The environment in the media and other faithless arenas wants to keep God out of the platform. The True Creator’s vision is being ignored because people do not want to admit that we sin and have turned from God. Many want to avoid confrontation with Jesus as their personal, loving and forgiving Lord and Savior. The Giver of all life, truth and hope will bring repentance and subsequent obedience as we follow Him.
Therefore, in our nation today, “God is up to something BIG.” He is bringing life through the grassroots expression of light, Jesus’ love – whether this is verbal affirmation of truth, compassion to others, even a simple courtesy, all in the name of Jesus. Jesus awakening is occurring now. This new movement will become so strong that the media will have to come to God’s kids, the true Church, to understand how to write the headlines.
God is moving, and no man or woman, regardless of how strong they think they might be, can stop Him. Jesus is the answer to all of life’s problems for every individual. This will be recognized.
Stay tuned, because I have begun sharing on the Jesus-Now Awakening Facebook page and blog examples of the pinpricks, pinpoints, pockets, passions and patterns of Light that are occurring in our nation and around the world. Revival is coming – from the grassroots up. Light always dispels darkness – never the reverse.
Will you be the light the Lord is forming you into in this Jesus-Now Awakening?
Do you want to know how to find the light of Jesus amidst the darkness?

Mr. Phillips,
BGEA is the Body of Christ and Jesus is the truth that leads it. It is a pattern of light dispelling darkness. I am a pinprick of light and a pinpoint of light. I Peter describes Living Hope much like these lights. These lights give Living Hope to all who dwell or cross through the light! Praying for you and your prayer partners to boldly ROAR the truth louder than the media’s lies.
Sometimes I feel pretty small compared to an organization like BGEA or even your prayer partners, but this helps me see my light must shine too, even if it is little. I will not hide it under a bushel! I am going to let it shine. God uses the insignificant, small people of the world too. (shepherds, young girls, inn keepers, fishermen…)
Thanks for inspiring us to shine!
