In mid-October 2026, the UniteUS campus movement held an outreach at Appalachian State University’s Holmes Convocation Center in Boone, North Carolina. Tonya Prewett and Jennie Allen shared the Gospel with a large crowd of students. The ministry reports that more than 700 students made the decision to follow Jesus, and about 100 were baptized right after the event. Students described it on social media as a life-changing night of worship. App State is the latest of more than two dozen campuses UniteUS has reached since its first gathering at Auburn in 2023.
Why it matters: students in the North Carolina mountains are not just attending a worship night; hundreds are stepping forward to follow Jesus.
